BeatClub are a six piece band consisting of Brendan Tallon, Karl McDermott, Fintan Jones, Shane Rafferty, Ray Martin and Geoff Woods. Brendan, Karl and Shane are ex of top Irish indie band Revelino who had a successful 10 year career, releasing three acclaimed CDs and touring throughout Europe and America, playing alongside Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Kinks, Echo and the Bunnymen, Paul Weller and Pearl Jam while for 5 years Fintan and Ray toured the world as part of the Committments band and are foremost players on Dublin's Jazz scene. Geoff is a founding member of The Picture House, one of Ireland's hardest working and successful bands whose singles are regular radio hits. Playing constantly together for over 7 years now BeatClub have built their reputation with an eclectic set of defining A-side singles from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, played with faithful reverence to these classic originals while maintaining the energy and vitality of real fans. Uniquely defined by five-part close harmony singing, solid back beats, one of the most happening brass sections around, Geoff's virtuoso ability on the keys and an impeccably cool mix of songs, it could only be - BeatClub.
